![]() After the night was over, we had the feeling that it would have been more enjoyable if we had kids with us. Guests experience an evening of family entertainment in their unique venue. The food looks much better on their website. Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament is North Americas longest running and most popular dinner attraction. The food was plentiful, but was not what we expected and was a bit sub-par. The outside and inside are charming, with the great detail of it adding to the experience. Shows are daily, check website for times and tickets. Six armor-clad knights on valiant horses seek the title of champion amidst the clashing of lance and shield and heart-pounding combat. We did feel that the horses looked healthy and well-treated. The pageantry and thrills of an authentic medieval tournament come to life inside the walls of the Queen's 11th century-style castle. I, however, did not mind being treated like a princess. It added a little humor and left Darcy wondering what he was doing to get picked on. One time, he kissed my hand and the other, he knocked off Darcy’s crown. One of the actors kept walking up and down our section, picking on Darcy each time he passed. ![]() Vegetarian meals are available upon request. ![]() A full-service bar is also available for adult guests. The producers do give it a definite feel of that day and time and the interactive elements with the audience were well done. Medieval Times Noble Feast includes garlic bread, tomato bisque soup, roasted chicken, corn cob, herb-basted potatoes, pastry of the Castle, coffee and two rounds of select beverages. ![]() The knights are excellently trained horseman and handle swords and battleaxes like professional warriors, battling for the title of King’s Champion. Join the Queen and her Royal court for an electrifying two hour dinner and tournament. The audience is divided into sections to root for their own teams of jousters/combatants and you cheer for your knight. Perhaps it was because some of the scenes felt like they went on for too long. It was an evening with horses and knights something that we thought we would enjoy more than we did. During our California trip, we decided to check out the Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament as it came highly recommended by some friends that were in California not long before our trip. ![]()
